Isolation with Plastimo EPS-Neo
With Plastimo EPS Neo we have managed for the first time to virtually neutralize the effect of heat radiation by means of infrared absorbers or infrared reflectors. As a result, a considerably better insulation effect can be achieved even with very low density levels. It can be seen in the figure(see above) that Plastimo EPS Neo having a density of 15 kg/m3 achieve a thermal conductivity of 0.032 W/m*K. With conventionalPlastimo EPS , at least 32 kg/m3, in other words , more that twice as much raw material, would have to be employed soas to achieve the same thermal conductivity and the resultant insilating effect.
